Amidst the war that the world is fighting against Coronavirus, almost all the major and renowned healthcare & research companies have entered a race to fight the deadly pandemic that has claimed more than 850,000 deaths to date (source). Whether it is about developing an effective vaccine that totally eliminates the virus or about curbing its spread – the fight against Coronavirus is on, and it’s not ending soon.
In midst of the numerous made-and-rebuked claims, Danolyte Global claims to have developed a system that is 100 times more powerful than bleach, and is fully potent to kill even the most resistant microbes like staphylococcus, Clostridium difficile, Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus, listeria, legionella, influenza virus and also all the forms of Coronavirus; however, a full-throttle testing is still pending. The system is registered and approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
In fact, Fulton Medical Center (FMC) has become the first hospital in Midwest to have successfully installed this new $35,000 disinfectant system. The hospital says the system will cost them only about $1 every time they disinfect a room.
According to Danolyte Global, this newly-developed disinfectant system produces a non-toxic and noncorrosive solution that is perfectly suitable for both hard and soft surfaces using electrostatic method of spraying, as this spraying method ensures the disinfectant solution attaches evenly to all the surfaces, including difficult-to-reach and hidden spots. The company claims the solution to be absolutely safe for humans as it is made majorly from hypochlorous acid, which is something found in the human body itself. It’s unlike Lysol or bleach that is both poisonous to humans and corrosive to most surfaces. In fact, the company claims the solution to be without any side effects at all.
Because of the friendly properties and high efficacy of the solution developed by Danolyte Global, the idea is to widen its use across various commercial and non-commercial places once it is deemed perfect to fight the Coronavirus. While the larger institutes can use the fully-automated generators to disinfect hospitals, offices and other facilities, a more comfortable dispensing solution for smaller institutions is yet to be developed.
The first installation at the Fulton Medical Center clearly seems to be a success, though! The race to find effective solution for Coronavirus has just started; and the need of the hour is keep finding new and effective solutions while driving the healthcare forward.
